Serving the communities of Badger, Pinehurst and Miramonte
Bookmobile
The Tulare County Bookmobile will come monthly to SCC except in the winter. We had a visit in December and are working on dates for January and beyond. This mobile unit operates as its own branch library and you can sign up for a library card if you don't already have one.
The picture at the right shows local school children from Badger...we hope to move Bookmobile day to Fridays so they can always come!
Food Link
FoodLink provides boxes of either pantry staples or produce twice per month. This project is in transition and we do not yet know when these boxes will be distributed. Contact Joni Jordan by either email (jonibjordan.scc@gmail.com, text or call (559-553-2225).
Narcotics Anonymous Meeting
This program is affiliated with the Narcotics Anonymous parent organization and is open to all community members and travelers. From the NA literature: There are no strings attached to NA. We are not affiliated with any other organizations, we have no initiation fees or dues, no pledges to sign, no promises to make to anyone. ...We are not interested in what you have done in the past...but only in what you want to do about your problem and how we can help. If you would like more information please call 805-291-9048. The group meets from 6:30 to 7:30 every Tuesday.
Safety Team Meetings
SCC is happy to provide services that promote the health and well-being of those of us who live in the Badger-Pinehurst-Miramonte area. In addition to Red Cross classes we have Safety Team Meetings on every other Monday night. March meetings are on the 7th and the 21st.
